Working from a foundation of family systems theory, this course includes an in-depth study and skill development of evidence based marriage, couple and family interventions including intake, assessment, and collaborative treatment planning. Additionally, course content covers proactive and responsive interventions unique to families with children/adolescents, older adults, couples, interpersonal violence, and severe mental illness.
